BTS Announces March 20 Comeback
BTS is officially making their comeback with the release of their fifth full-length album on March 20 at 1:00 PM (KST).
The announcement was made at midnight on the 5th through the fan platform Weverse, exciting fans around the world.
First Full-Length Album in Over Six Years
This marks BTS’s first full album in six years and one month, following their fourth studio album MAP OF THE SOUL : 7, released in February 2020. The upcoming album will feature a total of 14 tracks.
Staying true to BTS’s identity of expressing their thoughts and stories through music, this album was created with the intention of fully capturing “BTS as they are today.” The members began focusing intensively on album production in the latter half of 2025, pouring their individual emotions and perspectives into the songs while shaping the album’s overall direction together.

Deep Member Involvement in the Creative Process
BigHit Music emphasized that the BTS members were deeply involved in the entire creative process—from ideas and lyrics to the overall message of the album. Each track reflects their personal thoughts, emotions, and experiences accumulated throughout their journey as artists.
The album’s narrative, told across all 14 tracks, represents BTS’s path so far and serves as a meaningful message to the fans who have consistently supported them through every chapter.
Tour Dates Announcement Coming Soon
BTS is scheduled to announce the official world tour dates on the 14th at 12:00 AM (KST).
This upcoming tour will mark BTS’s first world tour in approximately four years, following BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE, which took place in Las Vegas, USA, in April 2022.
