MISAMO Makes a Grand Return in February 2026

We’re thrilled to share that MISAMO (the three-member subunit of TWICE consisting of Mina, Sana and Momo) is set to release their very first Japanese full-length album titled “PLAY” on February 4, 2026.

A Theatrical Comeback: Concept & Visuals

On November 21, their agency dropped a teaser trailer and a series of concept photos that already sparked huge excitement!

• The trailer begins with Mina’s line, “Welcome to the stage.” It shows a corridor decorated with posters of their previous releases (like “Masterpiece” and “HAUTE COUTURE”) and leads to a theatrical door opening.
• In the visuals, we see the trio dressed in elegant gowns, seated in an audience, observing confident, suit-clad versions of themselves stepping onto a stage. This symbolic contrast seems to blur the boundary between performer and audience.
• According to the teaser’s message: “Your seat right now might not actually be in the audience. Reality ends here, now it’s time to step onto the stage.” It feels like an invitation for fans to join them, not as spectators, but as part of the performance itself.

The new album’s concept photos also showcase a refined, charismatic side of MISAMO, their styling balances strength and softness, capturing a sophisticated yet powerful aura.

The Album “PLAY”: What We Know

• “PLAY” will feature 12 tracks, with the lead single titled “Confetti”.
• This marks MISAMO’s first full-length album, a major milestone nearly 2 years and 7 months after their debut as a unit.
• Given the unit’s history, their debut mini-album “Masterpiece” (2023) and their second mini-album “HAUTE COUTURE” (2024) — fans are anticipating a more matured, expansive sound and creative growth with “PLAY”.
