DominATE celebrATE Plushiepocalypse - it actually took 8 boxes to receive everything, this was just one of the total haul!

Any memorable moments from this K-haul?

It’s always fun unboxing a package where there are plushies vacuum sealed into bags. Seeing their squished faces up against each other is great for a chuckle while sorting it all out. I got to make a plushie fort out of the shoulder bags before carefully storing them in their individual protective cellophane baggies.

For this particular event, it was a relief to see that all of the necklaces arrived in tact. There were posts all over social media of Stay receiving their lockets in pieces. Phew. I always love getting a shipment in from a merch event, because there are so many different things to see and sort out. Sometimes things are much larger than you expected them to be, or softer, or higher quality. I managed to consolidate multiple events across all of these shipments, which saves on shipping cost overall. Tincases, ID sets, PCs, plushes, jackets, shirts, hats, pickets, keychains, and more!

Honestly, though, having to manually open every. single. individual. purchase benefit PC was… let’s say it was a daunting task of resilience and patience.

We had over 700 of them total.

Kfriday Experience and Honest Feedback

I discovered Kfriday over two years ago. I was researching possible proxies to host for my group (mostly in the US, but I have some Kids in Europe, too).

After carefully reviewing services, reviews/testimonials, and fee structures, I landed on KFriday as my winner. I have not yet once been let down. Kfriday's customer service is top-notch, and they respond pretty quickly. Even when there have been small mistakes on orders, it’s been simple to communicate and find an acceptable solution within a very short timeframe. My one real bit of feedback to improve things - it would be fantastic if there was some kind of way to better catalog large orders than the screenshots currently in use. It is difficult to cross-reference purchase benefit earnings when it is not clear which items are in which transaction of the total order. This also caused a bit of confusion on the massive celebrATE order I did, and there were a couple items missing, with several extras of others.

Clearer indicators of which screenshot belongs to which transaction would help immensely with this.

Tips, Messages, or Love for Fellow Fans

Being a KPop GOM is not an easy job if you want to do it well. It takes real dedication and a passion for logistics and sorting. If you’re just looking to host for a small group of friends, and you know you’ll be buying things frequently from within South Korea, Kfriday is definitely my top recommendation. They will go to offline events, and they don’t charge a ton of extra fees for every little thing (some other proxies do). ALSO! A lot of companies seem to have partnered exclusively with UPS as an international shipping courier. I much, much prefer FedEx or DHL. Kfriday allows you to choose between FedEx and DHL, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in unnecessary customs handling and cash-on-delivery fees.
