Stray Kids 2027 Season’s Greetings “Paper Tale”: Teaser & Pre-Order
Stray Kids have unveiled the first teaser images for their 2027 Season’s Greetings, titled “Paper Tale.”
The new Season’s Greetings introduces the eight members in a storybook-inspired visual world, with individual and group teaser images released through Stray Kids’ official channels from September 28 to 29, 2026.
Pre-orders for the Korean version of “Paper Tale” are scheduled to begin on October 6, 2026.
Stray Kids Introduce “Paper Tale”
Stray Kids officially announced their 2027 Season’s Greetings under the title “Paper Tale” through a series of teaser images.
The first individual teasers were released on September 28, featuring Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.
Additional group and unit teaser images followed on September 29.
The official teaser materials present the eight members in a fantasy-inspired setting featuring storybook and paper-themed visual elements.
A Storybook-Inspired Concept
The “Paper Tale” teasers use imagery associated with fairy tales and storybooks.
The visual materials feature elements such as oversized paper objects, paper-like scenery, playing-card imagery, candy-colored details, wings, and other fantasy-inspired decorations.
However, Stray Kids’ official announcements have not identified the members as specific characters from individual fairy tales.
Some fans and media outlets have connected individual styling and visual details with well-known stories such as “Alice in Wonderland,” “Peter Pan,” “Cinderella,” and “The Little Prince.” These connections are fan interpretations of the teaser imagery rather than officially confirmed character assignments.
The confirmed concept is the Season’s Greetings title “Paper Tale” and its storybook-inspired visual direction.
“Paper Tale” Pre-Orders Begin October 6
According to the official Stray Kids announcement, pre-orders for the 2027 Season’s Greetings “Paper Tale” will begin on October 6, 2026, at 3 PM KST.
The pre-order period is scheduled to run through October 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM KST.
The official teaser announcement uses the following schedule:
Pre-order Start: October 6, 2026, 3 PM KST
Pre-order End: October 14, 2026, 11:59 PM KST
The official product details and full contents should be checked through the designated sales announcement as they are released.
“Paper Tale” Is the Korean Version
Fans should also note that “Paper Tale” is separate from the Japanese original Season’s Greetings announced for 2027.
Stray Kids’ Japanese original Season’s Greetings is titled “WAVE MAKER.”
“WAVE MAKER” was announced by Sony Music Japan and JYP JAPAN ONLINE STORE as a separate Japanese edition with its own concept and product lineup.
The Japanese edition is based around the concept of inviting STAY to the Stray Kids crew’s headquarters, where they create a new wave. Its listed contents include a desk calendar, hardcover diary, eight-member photocard set, poster, making-video QR card, ID photo set, sticker, and knapsack.
Therefore, “Paper Tale” and “WAVE MAKER” should not be treated as different names for the same Season’s Greetings.
A New Year’s Collection for STAY
Season’s Greetings are annual merchandise collections released by K-pop artists for the upcoming year.
For Stray Kids, “Paper Tale” gives fans a chance to start 2027 with a collection built around a fantasy storybook aesthetic.
The individual and unit teasers also allow fans to see different combinations of the eight members within the same visual world.
As additional product information becomes available, fans will be able to see exactly how the “Paper Tale” concept is incorporated into the Season’s Greetings contents.
