We’d like to share an important update about EMS and K-Packet shipping to EU countries.

Due to the EU’s recent customs policy changes, Korea Post, our carrier, has announced that it will temporarily stop accepting EMS and K-Packet shipments with a declared value of €150 or under to some EU countries. As a result, EMS and K-Packet will be temporarily unavailable for packages with a declared value of €150 or under to the 24 EU countries listed below, until Korea Post resumes service.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to adapt to the EU’s customs policy changes. Please take a moment to review the details below.

📅 Effective: October 23rd. This applies to all packages that have not yet been handed over to Korea Post, including shipping requests already submitted.

🔁 What’s Changing

• Affected countries, declared value €150 or under: EMS and K-Packet available → Temporarily unavailable
• Affected countries, declared value over €150: EMS and K-Packet available (no change)
• Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden: EMS and K-Packet available (no change)
• Resumption: Until further notice from Korea Post

📦 Already Requested EMS or K-Packet Shipping for an Affected Package?

If your package is going to an affected country with a declared value of €150 or under, it cannot be sent until Korea Post resumes service. Please choose one of the following options:

• Option 1. Wait for service to resume: No action is needed. Your package will be kept safely and shipped as soon as Korea Post resumes EMS and K-Packet service.
• Option 2. Cancel and change your shipping method: If you’d prefer to receive your items sooner, please cancel your current shipping request and submit a new one with a different shipping method.

⚠️ Please Note:

• For affected packages, EMS and K-Packet cannot be selected on the shipping request form during the restriction period.
• Other shipping methods offered by Kfriday are not affected and can still be selected.
• The resumption date has not yet been confirmed by Korea Post. We’ll post a notice as soon as service resumes.
• Shipping to Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden continues under the prepaid Duties & Taxes policy (VAT included) announced on October 21st.
