WHIB: The Rising K-Pop Group Ready to Rock the Nation

WHIB currently consists of seven talented members, each bringing their unique flair to the group:

Kim Junmin (formerly Jayder)

  • Height: 177.9 cm
  • Fun Facts: Junmin was cast by BigHit Entertainment during his trainee days and competed on BOYS II PLANET. He's known for his dancing and rap skills, with nicknames like "Petit Junmin" and "Fox."


Haseung

  • Fun Facts: He participated as a contestant on the show Stars Awakening but was eliminated during episode 9


Jinbeom

  • Fun Facts: He appeared on YG TREASURE BOX but faced elimination in the initial episode. Despite early setbacks, he's proven his resilience and talent.

UGeon (SeungYong)

  • Birthday: May 2002
  • Position: Former child actor turned idol
  • Fun Facts: He's a former child actor who transitioned into the idol world


Leejeong

  • Fun Facts: He's a former SM and PLEDIS trainee, left-handed, and known by the nickname "Fairy Leejeong". He likes pepperoni pizza and any drinks with milk.

Jaeha

  • Fun Facts: He's a former figure skater who brings excellent dancing skills to the group. Fans often note his resemblance to CRAVITY's Jungmo.


Wonjun

  • Fun Facts: He always writes in his diary before going to sleep, can beatbox and skateboard, and plays the violin. His role model is NCT's Haechan.


Note: Member Inhong departed from the group in October 2025, and three members (Junmin, Leejeong, and Wonjun) have been on hiatus while participating in the survival show BOYS II PLANET.


The Journey So Far

WHIB's path to success hasn't been without challenges. The group was originally known as M.I.C (Made In C-JeS), a trainee group that underwent several lineup changes before their official debut. Since debuting, they've released multiple single albums including "Cut-Out" (2023), "Eternal Youth: Kick It" (2024), "Rush of Joy" (2024), and "Bang Out" (2025).

Their fanclub, called "AnD", has a beautiful meaning: "All fans are WHIB's number one Dream" and represents the connection between white WHIB and black WHIB into one unified group.


ROCK THE NATION: Their First Mini Album

Exciting news for fans! WHIB's first mini album "ROCK THE NATION" is set to be released on January 29, 2026 at 6 p.m. KST. This marks a significant milestone as it's their first full mini album and their first comeback as a reorganized seven-member group.


The Concept

The teaser video features a gray-toned cityscape with destroyed buildings and a dystopian mood, suggesting a more mature and powerful concept than their previous releases. The bold phrase "WE ROCK THE NATION" flashes across the screen, setting the tone for what promises to be an epic comeback.
