VIVIZ Has Officially Left Big Planet Made And Here's Everything That Happened

If you've been following the K-pop world lately, you've probably heard the news: SinB, Eunha, and Umji of VIVIZ have parted ways with their agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment. And honestly, after reading their official statement, it's hard not to feel for them.

Let's break down everything that went down, because this situation is a lot more serious than a typical contract expiration.

The Contract Was Terminated on March 4, 2026

This wasn't a quiet, amicable goodbye. According to the official statement released by the girls' legal representatives at law firm Sinwon, VIVIZ formally terminated their exclusive contract with Big Planet Made on March 4, 2026 citing breach of settlement payment obligations, failure to provide management support, and a complete breakdown of trust.

In other words, things had gotten bad enough that they felt they had no other choice.

What Actually Went Wrong?

The statement from their lawyer lays it all out, and it's honestly quite alarming for a functioning entertainment company.

The money stopped coming. Around November 2025, the agency paid out the girls' final settlement about a month late and then simply... stopped paying altogether. VIVIZ repeatedly asked when they could expect their earnings, and the agency's only response was a vague "we'll pay soon." That's it. No clear timeline, no accountability.

Their new album got cancelled out of nowhere. In January 2026, Big Planet Made unilaterally informed the girls that the release of their upcoming album EP06, which had already been in preparation, was being scrapped. On top of that, domestic and international fan meetings that were planned for the first half of 2026 were also cancelled. Imagine being a fan who had been waiting for that devastating.

Staff were paying out of their own pockets. Things got so bad financially on-site that managers were reportedly having to use their own personal cash to cover expenses the agency was supposed to handle. That level of dysfunction is genuinely shocking.

Why Did They Stay as Long as They Did?

What really stands out in the statement is this part: the girls said they were willing to endure the delayed payments on their end. What they couldn't bear was watching the people around them their staff, their team continue to suffer because of the agency's failures.

That says a lot about who SinB, Eunha, and Umji are as people. Even when they were being wronged, their concern was for others.

Eventually though, it became clear that Big Planet Made had completely lost both the will and the ability to support their artists' careers. The trust was gone. And so, with heavy hearts, they made the call.

They Still Showed Up for Their Fans

Here's the part that really gets you. Even after the contract was already legally terminated, even when there was no contractual obligation to do so, VIVIZ completed all of their scheduled activities through the end of March. No support from the agency, uncertain futures, and they still showed up because of their fans.

Their statement made it clear: that decision came from a sense of responsibility toward the people who have cheered for them without wavering.

What's Next for VIVIZ?

The statement closes with a heartfelt message from the artists, expressing sincere gratitude to their fans and a strong desire to continue as a team together, as one. They specifically said they hope to keep promoting as a unit, which is a huge relief for everyone who loves the three of them together.

No new agency has been announced yet, but given how much talent and loyalty these three have shown, it's only a matter of time before they land somewhere that actually deserves them.

Stay tuned for updates on VIVIZ's next chapter. Whatever comes next, one thing is certain: these three are not done.
