NMIXX Announces 6th EP “Strange Muse”
JYP Entertainment officially announced NMIXX’s comeback with their sixth EP “Strange Muse” on September 21.
The album will be released on October 19 at 6 PM KST.
The title track is “Birthday Wish,” which will be released together with the full EP and its music video.
“Strange Muse” follows NMIXX’s fifth EP “Heavy Serenade,” which was released in May 2026.
The new release therefore marks NMIXX’s first major comeback in approximately five months.
“Birthday Wish” Is the Title Track
“Birthday Wish” will serve as the title track of “Strange Muse.”
The Korean title of the song is “긴 소원,” which can be translated as “Long Wish,” while its official English title is “Birthday Wish.”
The song will be released at 6 PM KST on October 19 alongside the full EP and its music video.
Ahead of the release, NMIXX will unveil a music video teaser on October 18, one day before the comeback. A countdown livestream is also scheduled for the release day.

NMIXX Members Take Part in Songwriting
The new album also features direct participation from NMIXX’s members in the songwriting process.

A Mysterious “Muse” Concept
NMIXX has been gradually revealing the world of “Strange Muse” through a series of trailers and concept photos.
The first major trailer was released on September 28. It features the six members in different dreamlike environments, including a mysterious forest, a surreal space, and a moonlit setting.
The trailer begins and ends around a sparkling fountain, while the members appear in pairs throughout the video.
The concept photos released on September 29 under the “Muse Ver.” continued the mysterious atmosphere, using vintage-inspired settings and fantastical imagery.
On September 30, NMIXX began releasing the “Strange Ver.” concept photos, introducing another visual interpretation of the album’s concept.
