The Black Gat-String Pen (0.5mm, Black) is a smooth-writing water-based pen that captures the elegance of Joseon-era tradition. Its design is inspired by jukyeong, the bamboo strings of the traditional Korean gat hat, and pairs consistently with our Black Gat-String Eyeglass Chain (Ojuk). Each pen is meticulously handcrafted by threading onyx and beads one by one. The pen comes dressed in a removable soft “coat” to help keep it clean. Made from tumble-washed fabric, you may notice some natural lint shedding. Simply use tape to remove any loose fibers and keep it looking neat.
