1. Temporary Suspension of K-Packet to ALL Countries

Due to the fire at the National Information Resources Service (NIRS), Korea Post’s systems are currently experiencing disruptions.

• As a result, K-Packet shipments to ALL countries are temporarily unavailable today.
• Service may resume as early as tomorrow (September 30th), but the recovery timeline is not yet confirmed.

2. Temporary Suspension of K-Packet to Canada

In addition, all K-packet shipments to Canada are currently suspended because of a nationwide strike by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) that began on September 25, 2025.

• If you need urgent shipping to Canada, please consider using FedEx or UPS as alternatives.

3. Upcoming K-Packet Service to the USA (with DDP Option)

Once the above issues are resolved, we will roll out K-Packet service to the USA with a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) option.

• This means you’ll pay import duties and taxes upfront together with shipping fees;
• You won’t need to worry about additional charges upon delivery!
